Branding

Following a management buy out, the new team at Macro Art approached us at the start of 2015, looking for an agency who could help them communicate the business in a fresh, new way that reflected the management’s vision.

The existing brand identity had been created in-house without clear guidelines and had started to look dated. There was clear motivation to bring the brand up to date in a clean and bold way that reflected the scale of the services on offer and that would appeal to the numerous creative agencies they work with.

Before we could undertake any creative work, we needed to get a clear overview of the business. With a series of Q&A sessions with the senior team members; establishing their needs and expectations, we made sure we were all on the same page with a clear brief.

From that brief we created a whole new design concept, where the M and the A became a visual representation of a mountain range, to reflect the size and scale of what Macro Art do.

The simple strapline; Making Bigger Better reflects the manufacturing and nature of what they do, the scale of what they do and finally the quality of their products and services.

The new visual identity was then rolled out across the business and used for vehicle livery, signage, stationery, clothing and, of course, the new website which we designed and developed.
