Often Content Management Systems are under-utilised.
Not in this case.

Mystic Sons founder, James Barker, approached us at a point where they were looking to move their website on to the next level. The previous incarnation was beginning to date and show its limitations. We prescribed a Drupal CMS solution for what was is a very "content hungry" website. Often CMS systems are under-utilised but in this case the editorial team at Mystic Sons are frequently publishing up-to-date music news and content to feed an engaged and passionate audience.

Content is archived into sections as well as being digestible on the home page.

“Working with Rifle was very straight forward. The team understood our needs well and we felt well informed throughout. The final build came in on time and on budget which was a relief. We’ve had great feedback since the launch of the new site.”
A broad and vast range of articles for passionate followers of all genres.

Building a “content hungry” website

The challenge here was to deliver a well structured CMS build against a fixed budget. Without compromising it's scalability.

Our client had a clear idea about the clean and minimal design aspect so that helped with our development.

Bespoke CMS solutions are sometimes perceived to be a costly exercise but with the power of todays open source applications, such as Drupal, it is possible to keep the fine grained visual control whilst leveraging the built in power of the system.

Using Drupal to drive the back-end and a responsive framework for the front-end we were able to provide a good level of responsive behaviour within the budget to cater for todays wide range of devices.
